Forgiveness is important. Many people don’t think it is important to have forgiveness. If somebody apologizes to you and you forgive them you will feel happier. You will feel happier because then you will still have your friendship. If you don’t forgive, that person might just not like you anymore because they forgave you but you didn’t forgive them. Not being forgiving can also hurt you and the other people involved. You may not know it is hurting you but inside it is. Forgiveness is just another way of happiness. That is why forgiveness is important.

I think it is important to have honesty. Being honest is very good thing to be. There is a saying about honesty, “ honesty is the best policy”. Although you might not always want to be honest because maybe you got in trouble and then you might lie. One time I was given 2 falcon dollars by accident. Instead of keeping it I told the teacher she gave me an extra one. Since I was honest, in return she let me keep it. You would keep it if you weren’t honest but then you might feel guilty. Honesty sometimes even gets you better things in life. There was one man who saw that a blind man dropped $100 dollars so he let the man keep them because other people have told him he has dropped money before but the people who saw kept it.

I think setting goals is very important which is why for quarter one I set some goals for myself. I got about the same score for each of my tests. I didn’t go down though so that was a goal I accomplished.  I will make sure to set goals before next MAP test. I personally don’t like MAP tests because the wording of the questions. Most of the questions are easy but it is hard to figure out what they are exactly asking. Espically the things I haven’t learned yet. If I don’t know the answer I try to use different methods. I will either use process of elimination or make an educational guess. I use process of elimination most because I get more questions right that way. Overall I think I did well on MAP and I hope to do even better next MAP test.

I loved this years Thanksgiving, I had so much fun. For Thanksgiving I ate lots of different foods like turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, Hawaiian salad, and more! I ate 3 Thanksgiving dinners. One with my mom, one with my dad, and one with my aunt and cousins. They were all very fun, I got to even help make the food. My sister also got a new apartment on Thanksgiving so I hope to see it soon. My sister only got to spend a little while with us because she was going to a party. It was so fun and I think every Thanksgiving gets better and better each year in my family.

The most scariest thing that ever happened would be going to the 13 floor. 13 floor is a haunted house and it was so scary. I got jumpscared so many times. There were clowns and it was so dark. When we were in line there was a clown behind me that wouldn’t go away. It was funny because he scared my sister too. In the end I was still shaking and my throat was hurting so bad screaming. My brother wasnt as scared and only got scared about 5 times. Me and my sister got scared like 30-40 times. I would love to go back because every year is different and better.

I love holidays! I think it is great because you get to spend time with your family and you don’t even have to go to school. Some people might think otherwise about not having school but I think it’s good to go to school but just not on holidays. For thanksgiving I eat turkey, tamales, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. I eat many other things but those are the main ones. I usually spend Thanksgiving with my cousins and parents. We play games and have a great time. I can’t wait to write all about my Christmas!

For second quarter I have a few goals. The first goal I have would be in ELA. I would like to finish about five books. 1st quarter I finished 4 books so I am confident that I can finish at least 5. In math I think that before tests I can study harder so I can reach for a good score. I want to complete more home shares in excel as well. I think I can reach all of these goals as long as I try. I think it is important to always set goals for yourself so you can get better as a learner and a person.

Gratitude means a quality of being thankful and showing appreciation and kindness. I am grateful for having my amazing parents. I am grateful because my mom and dad have taught me so much. My mom is such a role model to me. I am also grateful for having an education. Lots of people don’t get to go to school everyday. We get lunch in school and some people also aren’t able to eat. I think it is good to be grateful.

Many would say he is quite annoying and talkative but people just don’t know the real reason why. Many would say “ you look older every day!” but not so much in a good way. The truth was that he aged 20 years every day. Although his face didn’t look like it had changed that much everyday, it was suspicious. People thought he was aging but just couldn’t exactly tell what was happening. He was very talkative because he thought his face aging would actually make him age internally and not live as long. He wasn’t the best looking due to this but he still kept his game show career going. He started talking less and worrrying less. People loved his show.

My favorite animal would be a baboon. I like baboons because the way they interact and the way they look. I think most baboons look really funny. They are many types of baboons but I think my favorite would be the Hamadryas baboon. I really want to see a baboon in real life.

My favorite country would be France because the types of food, their different sights, and the capital of France. France has lots of bakeries which have baguettes, croissants, and macarons. My greatest achievement would be getting 0 falcon fouls. I almost received 1 but never did. I would like to try to have 0 by the end of the year. In 7th and 8th grade I would try to do these same. I hope I don’t receive any.

My happiest day ever was when I got my dog. I was young but I remember like it happened yesterday. She was big already but she was still a puppy. I was scared at first because I thought she would jump on me. Her name was Snugglebug but after a while we started calling her Snuggles.

A club I would want to be in this year would be Intramural volleyball. I would want to do this sport to prepare for JV and Varsity volleyball in upcoming years and because I find the sport very fun. I would like to learn more about competing volleyball as well so this would be a great sport to do so.

I think I would rather be famous from singing than writing because I would enjoy it a lot more and I feel that fans of singers will be much more enthusiastic. If I was a singer I would also be writing so it would be a mix of both. I would especially love to be heard by the world instead of being read by world and be less seen in person. I would be able to go on tour and be able to sing in front of all my fans from anywhere around the world.

I think the best food I ever tried would be Pasteles. Pasteles are Puerto Rican tamales wrapped in a plantain leaf. They are very different than regular tamales. They are different by the color, dough, and by what they have inside. Pasteles have a greenish brown color tint. Usually inside they will have pork, olives, and peppers. Pasteles taste very good which is why I would consider them the best food ever.

This week was another devastating week with a Las Vegas shooting. The shooter was staying in a room of the Mandalay Bay hotel. There were about 58 victims of this shooting.

If I was President If I was President I would try to be the best. I would make sure there are never any tests. Currently there are many protests, We may have opinions about different things but we need to have respect Wether it's about the public Press or school having fun less, If I was President I would try my best. I think being President would be so fun. I would love to live in the White House. It is so big and beautiful. Hopefully I can get to be the 1st lady President which I doubt because I would have to wait  24 years. I wish kid presidents existed.

Today (Friday), I am so excited! I'm going the the 13th floor haunted house with my brother, sister, and dad. I bet my sister $2 that she will get scared and she agreed. I have been to the 13th floor once on a day where they turned off the lights in the haunted house so it was pitch black. All we got was a purple glow stick. It was very scary but I think it is better with some lights on. I believe the theme is going to be zombies. My dad is purchasing the tickets today while he is at work. Hello! I am very excited because it is finally official that I'm going to get a cat!🐱I currently have one dog which is 6 years old. I love cats and dogs which is why I also want a cat. My dog is named Snuggle Bug but her nickname is Snuggles. She is a German Shepard mixed with a Chow. I would love to get a Domestic long hair cat but any breed is fine. Last week was a truly devastating week. Hurricane Irma was as a Category 5, it was also September 11, 2017 or much more recognized as 9/11. September 11, 2001 was the day that terrorists of al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes. Two struck the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York, the third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in fields of Pennsylvania. There is still not much to say about Hurricane Irma for it has just recently struck.
